1. Who we are

Data Magnate AI is operated by Magnate Investments Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11532027). Email: support@datamagnateai.com.

We are the data controller for the account information described below.

2. Information we collect about you

Account details: your email address, name (if provided, for example through Google sign-in) and password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).

Usage records: the scans you run (industry, location and options), results saved to your workspace, CSV exports and your credit balance and transactions.

Payments: subscriptions and top-ups are processed by Stripe. We receive your customer and subscription identifiers and payment status, not your full card details.

Messages you send us through the Contact page or by email.

3. Business data in search results

Lead results are compiled from publicly available business sources such as Google business listings, the Companies House register and businesses' own websites. Some entries (for example a sole trader's name, phone number or email) may relate to identifiable people. You are responsible for using this information lawfully, including under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations when contacting businesses.

4. How and why we use your information

To provide the service and your account (contract), to process payments and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation), to prevent abuse such as duplicate free-credit accounts (legitimate interests), to answer your enquiries (legitimate interests), and — only with your consent — to measure our advertising using the Meta Pixel.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers who process data on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, Stripe (payments), Google (if you choose Google sign-in, and for business listing searches), an AI provider used to check result relevance (receives business listing details, not your account data), and Meta (advertising measurement, only if you accept marketing cookies). We do not sell your personal data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and usage data while your account is open. Payment records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law. To delete your account, email support@datamagnateai.com from your account email address.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. Contact support@datamagnateai.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
